An Introduction

Jack Pratchard is the tale of a man who dies and discovers just what is on the other side of life.

It is a strange and charming new story, told with paper theatre, a record player and a soundtrack of the Schubert Octet, conceived and created by Jonathan Storey and directed by Seonaid Goody.

With his marvelous theatrical machine Jonathan Storey reveals an ever changing series of beautifully coloured scenes and characters, creating a world like an animated painting.

"Jack Pratchard is the most wonderful cross between an incredibly beautiful piece of artwork, a dark and charming fairytale and a feat of miniature engineering. I was spell bound by the performance and transported not only to Jack Pratchard's world of the afterlife but also back to the story times of my childhood which were filled with joy and wonder. I wouldA recommend it to anyone"
